What We Believe

We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, was given by inspiration of God. The Word of Truth is the final authority of Faith and Doctrine.

We believe in creation; that man was created by the direct act of God and in the image of God.

We believe that Adam and Eve, in yielding to the temptation of Satan, became fallen creatures.

We believe that all men are born in sin, and thus the necessity for Repentance.

We believe in the Incarnation, the Virgin Birth, and Deity of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He is the Son of Jehovah, the Living God.

We believe in His Vicarious and Substitutional death on the cross. The Atonement for the Remission of sins for all mankind, by the shedding of His own Blood at Calvary.

We believe that the Atonement also provides deliverance and healing for those who believe in His name.

We believe in Justification by Faith and Sanctification to be the way of Holiness. We walk by faith and not by sight; we walk in the Spirit & not the flesh.

We believe that Grace and works are compatible. Grace through Faith saves us.

We believe that Justification must be sustained by obedience to God's Word. Jesus Christ said, “Pick up your cross and follow me.”

We believe in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ body from the tomb, His Ascension to Heaven, and that He is now our Advocate.

We believe the Church to be a direct result of the first Advent, we evangelize & disciple. We follow the command of Jesus Christ - The Great Commission.

We believe Water Baptism to be scriptural when administered to believers and only by Immersion. We believe the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper.

We believe in the necessity of the new birth, and that this new birth is through the Regeneration by the Holy Spirit. As we follow The Word of Truth, we then receive the Baptism, Gifts and Fruits of the Spirit, which prepare us for Ministry.
